Together – Supporting Victims of Torture in Syria

About the Project

DOZ Syria is a local nonprofit NGO registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus (Reg. No. 167). Since 2011, DOZ has supported survivors of ISIS, women facing gender-based violence, and underage girls subjected to early marriage. Following the fall of the Assad regime, DOZ met with recently released survivors of torture. This project was born out of their voices — to provide real, holistic support.
